Do not co-sign a loan
“It’s stupid to guarantee someone else’s loan.” (Proverbs 17:18 CEV)
You want to be a nice person by helping a relative or a friend. However, if the borrower ever encounters financial problems, be certain that your relative or “friend” will stick you with the responsibility for paying off the loan. That’s human nature.
